Praia da Tocha

Our surf camp is based in the beautiful little fishing town Praia da Tocha in Portugal Centro. Tocha is hidden in the middle of pine forests directly by the beach and is part of the 297km long Coastline between Aveiro and Peniche with some of the best waves in Europe. Here you’ll find long stretches of uncrowded beaches mixed with some genuine Portuguese culture and traditional architecture.

Before tourism found its way into this little seaside paradise, Praia da Tocha used to live uniquely off fishing. Here you’ll find a little supermarket, an ATM (100m from the camp) and several restaurants within short walking distance.

Along Tocha sea front you’ll find several beach bars with a big variety for every taste. Enjoy a cold drink while watching the sunset or listen to some live music with your fellow surf mates.
