Surf Camp Food

Breakfast is the most important meal on a surf camp, therefore you’ll find a big selection of food in the mornings. A typical breakfast buffet includes coffee, tea, different juices, milk, oats, cornflakes, fruit, cheese, ham, butter, sweet/savory spreads and bread. We also offer daily varying home-made specials, be surprised!

For lunch, we prepare home-made lunch packages for you including sandwiches and fruit.

If you prefer to cook yourself, you can use our fully equipped guest kitchen. If you want to try the Portuguese cuisine, you can visit the campsite restaurant or the restaurants in town and enjoy a non- expensive meal there, too.



Not only breakfast is important, also dinner. On five evenings (Sat, Sun, Tue, Thu, Fri) per week, our chef Tim will cook international dishes accompanied by fresh salad and dessert - made from fresh ingredients and with lots of love! Tim cooks varying meals throughout the week, like Mexican wraps, Italian pasta, Indian curry or a Portuguese BBQ. All our meals are vegetarian based, with meat options on several days a week. Of course we prepare vegan options, too. Just let us know your food preference while booking and we’ll make sure to have the right kind of food for you. On Monday evening we invite you to a local restaurant nestled in the beautiful forest of Praia da Tocha! It's all included in your package, so you can enjoy a meal without any extra costs.

And on Wednesday evening you’ll have the opportunity to explore yourself in the Portuguese culture by exploring traditional fish restaurants, tapas bars, or grill houses in town and the surrounding areas. Alternatively, you can prepare your own meal in our guest kitchen if you prefer.
